What is going on in Pakistan Comedy Board (PCB)?

Babar Azam has returned as the ODI and T20I skipper for Pakistan, replacing Shaheen Shah Afridi.

“Following a unanimous Recommendation from the PCB’s selection committee, Mohsin Naqvi has appointed Babar Azam as captain for (ODI and T20I) of the Pakistan men’s cricket team,” the PCB posted on X a social media platform.

Shaheen Shah Afridi #ShaheenAfridi took over as Pakistan’s T20I captain, in November last year.

Pakistan’s next international tour is a five-match T20 series against New Zealand, starting April 18, 2024. Pakistan is also playing a three T20s against Ireland and four matches against England before the T20 World Cup in the USA and the West Indies from June 2, 2024.

Babar Azam is amongst the most successful captains in T20Is, having won 42 out of 71 matches for Pakistan.

Congratulations #BabarAzam for #Captaincy No double #BabarAzamIsMyCaptain Pakistan team.
