Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of the interim government of the Afghan Taliban, has confirmed that the Kabul regime has invited Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl Emir Maulana Fazlur Rehman to visit Afghanistan.
Earlier this week, the chief of Jamiat Ulema -I-Islam (JUI-F) arrived in Kabul on a very significant tour on the Afghanistan official invitation.
Molana was welcomed by Afghan officials at the Kabul airport. The main route of his convoy was heavily guarded by the Afghan police and security forces. Later, Molana met with the Afghan Prime Minister Mullah Hasan Akhund, Refugee minister and other high officials.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman enjoys high respect among Afghan Taliban and other religious, political forces in Afghanistan.
The spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid today quoted Mullah Hasan as saying that the “Islamic Emirate will not allow anyone to pose a threat to any country”.
The main aim of the visit is not yet disclosed officially by either side, but it can easily be predicted that Islamabad wants a peaceful settlement with TTP and Afghanistan should not allow his soil to be used against Pakistan according to Qatar Peace Deal. Secondly, Molana also want not be targeted by the TTP during the Election campaign in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa and Balochistan.
Mujahid said Maulana Fazlur Rehman will get to know about the Taliban’s stance on the unrest in Pakistan and would convey to Islamabad.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman can play a very important role to convince the Afghan Government not to allow TTP to use Afghan soil against Pakistan.

Maulana can also suggest the Afghan government to reconsider the ban on girl education in Afghanistan furthermore JUI-f is one of the most important political party in Former FATA and hence they can share political experience with Taliban. Political inclusivnss is very vital for Afghanistan, Taliban cannot sustain its rule over Kabul long without forming a unity Government.
Earlier today, five cops were killed and 27 people were injured in a blast near a police van in the Mamund tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur district. The attack was claimed by the TTP.
Pakistan Army through ISPR statements and the caretaker prime minister through prime minister’s office statements and foreign office via weekly press briefings and demarche of Afghan representative in Islamabad conveyed to the Taliban government to stop the attacks of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) into Pakistan once and for all.
He says TTP fighters in Afghanistan, who he noted, are using US weapons, should be “returned to Pakistan or neutralized.”
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that security forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location.
Pukhtoonkhwa TV spoke to an Afghan social media activist regarding Molana visits to Afghanistan. He said the Molana is on Task to convince the Taliban Government to Influence TTP but this visit will not be fruitful.
Afghan diaspora and former Afghan regime are very upset about this visit. They see Maulana is one of the figures who supported Taliban throughout the years and now, He is in Kabul to celebrate their victory.
Separately, the statement quoted the JUI-F chief as saying that differences should be resolved through dialogue. “We should cooperate with each other and both countries must take advantage of commonalities,” Maulana added.
